The General Directorate for Technology, Research and Energy (DGTRE)

offers a range of incentives and accompanying measures aimed at increasing the technological ability of companies based in the Walloon Region. These R&D operations differ according to the stages of the new products or processes concerned and cover part of the industrial basic or applied research costs as well as technical and economical feasability studies, human potential and resources strengthening technology transfer, etc…
To encourage this dynamic innovation control, the DGTRE is made up of a multidisciplinary team of about hundred people – engineers, legal experts, economists – and aims at a partnership between all R&D players (universities, research centres, companies, professional federations).
